Remote Sessions privacy
Remote Sessions doesn’t collect, store or send any of your data to me or to anyone else. There are no accounts, analytics or ads.
What data the app handles
- Your Claude Code conversations. The app reads them from your computer through the
remote-sessionsserver you install yourself. They travel encrypted (HTTPS, with your computer’s certificate pinned when pairing) between your phone and your computer, over your local network or Tailscale. They never go through any server of mine. - Pairing data. The name, addresses and certificate fingerprint of your computers are stored on the phone, and the access key in the system’s secure storage. They are deleted when you forget the computer or uninstall the app.
- Camera. Only used to scan the pairing QR code. Images are neither stored nor sent.
- Local network. The app looks for your computer on the local network (Bonjour/mDNS) to find it if its address changes.
Third-party services
When you tap “Connect”, the app opens a claude.ai link in the Claude app or the browser. From then on Anthropic’s privacy policy applies. If you use Tailscale, theirs applies too.
